Real experiences of retirement living at Park Place Retirement

Gloria: “Being busy in this chapter is a beautiful thing.”

Gloria’s journey to Park Place Retirement began after a meaningful season of change. Having lived in her home in Tavistock while raising her family, she began to feel lonely once her children were grown and living on their own. After visiting several retirement communities, Park Place stood out as the place that felt most like home.

Wayne: “The staff bring warmth and positivity into each day.”

Wayne’s move to Park Place Retirement came after the passing of his wife in 2022. Living alone, he needed more support with meals, care, and daily living than he could manage on his own. Moving to Park Place provided the safety, comfort, and assistance he needed.

Jackie: “I feel cared for each day.”

Jackie Naylor moved to Park Place Retirement after the passing of her husband, when her son encouraged her to consider a place where she could receive the care and support she needed. She quickly recognized that Park Place could provide both comfort and assistance in this new chapter of life.
